Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross
As part of the Grand Master’s Fund Matching Challenge, the Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross has once again demonstrated its steadfast commitment to charitable work, raising a total of £2,000 in support of Rachel House in Kinross. In the true spirit of the initiative, this generous sum was matched through the Grand Master’s Fund Matching, doubling the contribution and bringing the total donation to an impressive £4,000.
To commemorate this significant achievement, a delegation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross visited Rachel House on Wednesday, 15 April 2026, to formally present the cheque. Representing the Province were the Provincial Grand Master, Brother Bill Rocks; the Depute Provincial Grand Master, Brother Lawrence Cooper; the Provincial Grand Secretary, Brother Alan Morgan; and the Provincial Grand Almoner, Brother Neil Mackenzie. They were joined by Brother Stewart Quigley, Grand Bard of the Grand Lodge of Scotland, underscoring the collaborative effort between the Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross and the Grand Lodge of Scotland in supporting such a worthy cause.
During the visit, the delegation met with Assistant Community Fundraiser, Matthew McCallum, to whom the cheque was formally presented on behalf of both the Province and the Grand Lodge. The occasion served not only as a ceremonial handover but also as a meaningful opportunity to acknowledge the invaluable work undertaken by Rachel House and CHAS in delivering essential practical, emotional, and social support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
This contribution reflects the enduring charitable ethos of the Province of Fife and Kinross and its continued dedication to supporting organisations that make a tangible difference within the local community. Initiatives such as the Grand Master’s Fund Matching Challenge significantly amplify the impact of fundraising efforts, enabling enhanced support for vital services like those provided by Rachel House.
