The Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross
Brother William B. Rocks
Provincial Grand Master
Welcome to the official website of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross. The first Provincial Grand Master Alexander Melville of Balgarvie, was commissioned in 1745.
Freemasonry is an ancient and honourable society. It promotes and encourages steady principles in life in an increasingly changing world. Above all we are not a secret society and we welcome expressions of interest from men of mature age usually over 21, who believe in a Supreme Being and who are genuinely interested in improving society around them. You can contact the Provincial Grand Lodge using the 'Contact PGLFK' link.
The Province of Fife and Kinross contains 49 Lodges, 48 in the Kingdom of Fife and 1 in the county of Kinross-shire. Our aim is to provide information about the Masonic activities within the Province, which are of interest to both Masons and non-Masons alike. Please enjoy your visit and we hope you will come back again soon.

No doubt you are aware that the Grand Lodge of Scotland is hoping to reach the sum of £1m donated to their current nominated charity ‘Prostate Scotland’.
It is hoped that this sum can be reached by the time of Grand Lodge Installation Ceremony and Festival of Saint Andrew on Thursday, 24 November 2022.
To help reach this figure a proposed Charity Zip slide in support of Prostate Scotland is being arranged, taking place on FRIDAY 16 September 2022 at the Riverside Museum in Glasgow. There will be 26 places available to take place in the zip slide and it is hoped that 26 of the 32 provinces will participate, with the Provincial Grand Master or representative doing the slide.
As Provincial Grand Master of Fife and Kinross I am taking part and would appreciate any donations, so that this province can make a sizeable contribution to this very worthwhile charity. A just giving page has been set up to receive donations here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/bill-rocks-pglfk
Extract from correspondence sent from Grand Almoner Brother Tom Davidson – “The last official tally of the amount raised to date towards the MAKE IT A MILLION challenge is £926,000 leaving a further £74,000 still to raise before November 2022. In speaking to the Provincial Grand Masters over the last week I am aware that their projects over the summer have already raised further amounts which are not yet able to be included. This event is a huge opportunity to blow a substantial hole in the remaining amount. Thank you for your support. Let’s MAKE IT A MILLION!”
