Lodge Earl Haig No.1260
On Wednesday 10 September, Lodge Earl Haig No.1260 held its first meeting following the successful amalgamation with Lodge Macduff No.940, a significant milestone in the Lodge's history.
The amalgamation had been sanctioned by the Grand Lodge of Scotland during the regular June Communication, marking a new chapter for both lodges.
The meeting was well attended, with Brother Bill Rocks Provincial Grand Master and Brother Lawrence Cooper Depute Provincial Grand Master in attendance to convey their best wishes to the Lodge following the amalgamation.
The meeting saw the presentation of the Second or Fellow Craft Degree, led by Senior Warden Brother John Sharp. The Degree team was congratulated on the quality of the ceremony while Brother Sharp was congratulated on his leadership throughout the Degree work.
