Zip Slide
The Grand Lodge of Scotland is hoping to reach the sum of £1m donated to their current nominated charity ‘Prostate Scotland’. It is hoped that this sum can be reached by the time of Grand Lodge Installation Ceremony and Festival of Saint Andrew on Thursday, 24 November 2022.
To help reach this figure a proposed Charity Zip slide in support of Prostate Scotland was arranged to take place on Friday 16 September 2022, which unfortunately was cancelled following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
It was rescheduled and took place at Killiecrankie Zip Park on Sunday 09 October 2022. Overall the sum raised is in excess of £39,000 with some £2,500 being raised by Brother Bill Rocks Provincial Grand Master of Fife and Kinross. This means that the Grand Lodge of Scotland is well on the way to achieving the target of £1m.
The Provincial Grand Master would like to thank all the Brethren and Lodges who have donated to this excellent adventure.
