Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross
As part of the Grand Master’s Fund Matching Challenge, the Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross has proudly demonstrated its continued commitment to charitable giving by raising a total of £2,000 in support of Maggie's Fife. In keeping with the spirit of the initiative, this was generously matched through the Grand Master’s Fund Matching Challenge, doubling the contribution and bringing the total donation to an impressive £4,000.
To mark the occasion, a delegation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross visited Maggie’s Fife on Wednesday 08 April 2026, to formally present the cheque. Representing the Province were the Provincial Grand Master Brother Bill Rocks, the Depute Provincial Grand Master Brother Lawrence Cooper, the Provincial Grand Secretary Brother Alan Morgan, and the Provincial Grand Almoner Brother Neil Mackenzie. They were joined by Brother Mike McAdams, a Grand Steward of the Grand Lodge of Scotland, highlighting the shared effort between the Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross and Grand Lodge of Scotland in supporting such a meaningful cause.
During the visit, the group met with Maggie's Fife Centre Fund Raising Organiser Natalie Fairfoul, and presented the cheque on behalf of both the Province and Grand Lodge. The occasion served not only as a formal handover but also as an opportunity to recognise the invaluable work carried out by Maggie’s in providing practical, emotional, and social support to individuals and families affected by cancer.
This contribution reflects the strong charitable ethos of the Province of Fife and Kinross and its ongoing dedication to supporting organisations that make a real difference within the local community. Through initiatives like the Grand Master’s Fund Matching Challenge, the impact of fundraising efforts is significantly enhanced, enabling even greater support for vital services such as those offered by Maggie’s Fife.
