April Statutory Communication
The Statutory Communication of Provincial Grand Lodge was held on Saturday 26 April 2025, Brother Bill Rocks Provincial Grand Master presiding, within the Masonic Hall North Street Lochgelly, under the auspices of Lodge Minto No.385.
On this occasion the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master welcomed into Provincial Grand Lodge Representations from the Provincial Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Fife and Kinross and the District Grand Priory of Fife and Kinross. Most Excellent Depute Grand Superintendent David Lessels accompanied by Most Excellent Third Grand Principal Andrew Wilkie represented the Provincial Grand Royal Arch Chapter while District Grand Priory was represented by Right Eminent Frater George Johnstone District Grand Prior accompanied by Very Eminent Frater Frank Reid District Grand Seneschal.
Both sets of representatives were warmly welcomed into Provincial Grand Lodge by Provincial Grand Master Brother Bill Rocks and escorted to a seat within the Provincial Grand Lodge.
During the course of proceedings two brethren were presented with certificates and neck jewels and awarded Honorary Provincial Grand Rank. Brother Patrick Rattray a Past Master of Lodge Thane of Fife No.781 was awarded the rank of Honorary Provincial Grand Senior Deacon and Brother Ivan Fearon a Past Master of Lodge Torrie No.1141 was awarded the rank of Honorary Provincial Grand Bard.
Brother David McNeil Immediate Past Master of Elgin's Lodge at Leven No.91, gave the brethren a brief summary of the work being done with the National Literacy Trust and what they hope to achieve.
