Lodge St. Serf No.327
At the regular meeting held on Tuesday 20 December 2022, Lodge St Serf celebrated one of their elder statesmen, when they invited Immediate Past Master Brother James Marshall to lead an invited team of brethren to confer a 1st degree on Brother Ross Martin, Master of Lodge Balgonie No.764.
After the degree work Brother Marshall was placed in the centre of the carpet, where Substitute Provincial Grand Master, Brother Ian Cockburn along with the Master of the Lodge presented Jim with his Diamond Jubilee certificate for 60 years faithful service to Freemasonry, which included 5 separate periods as Master with a combined 8 years in the chair.
This was also the occasion of the the Christmas hamper draw, which raised a fantastic amount of £400 , which will be going to a local charity.
