Lodge Earl Haig No.1260
Brother William Cooper Michie, Past Master was presented with his Platinum Certificate marking seventy years of service to his Lodge at the Regular Meeting of Lodge Earl Haig No.1260, held on Wednesday 24 September.
Brother Michie was initiated into Lodge Earl Haig on 23 March 1955, following his father George who had been initiated in 1929. He served the Lodge as Master during it's golden anniversary serving from 1969 to 1971, and was Master again some thirty years later in 1999.
Provincial Grand Lodge was represented on this evening by Substitute Provincial Grand Master Brother Colin Davie, also in attendance was Immediate Past Provincial Grand Master Brother Stewart Quigley.
