Foundation Stone Kirkcaldy Infectious Diseases Hospital

During recent demolitions and excavations at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, a foundation stone and plaque was uncovered.

The inscription on the plaque reads "Foundation Stone of the Kirkcaldy Infectious Diseases Hospital Laid by The Right Honourable The Earl of Rosslyn Provincial Grand Master of Fife and Kinross on 22nd June 1897 In Commemoration of Her Majesty's Jubilee".
