Provincial Grand Lodge Held a Christmas Carol Singing Service

on

Sunday 16th December at Markinch Parish Church

The Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross held a Christmas Carol Service for the first time ever. The service was held in Markinch Parish Church and was well attended by the Brethren of Fife and Kinross, accompanied by their wives and partners and their families

The event was led by the Provincial Grand Master Bro Rev Andrew Eadie Paterson JP supported by some of the Brethren within the Province as well as some of the Brethrens children

A fantastic day was enjoyed by all who attended with everyone having a marvelous time and to cap the whole thing off a suprise visitor made an appearance with two of his little helpers who handed out selection boxes to all the children present young and old

The Rev Andrew Paterson had the congregation in raptures of laughter when he delivered part of his sermon in the fife vernacular as he did when playing the part of Elizabeth and asking the players to squeeze together and share the mike

The service was more than suitably enhanced by the Orchestra which included Bro Stewart Malcolm RWM Lodge Oak 877, Bro Darren Empson RWM Lodge Canmore 1175 and members of the Army Cadets and the Boys Brigade
