Installation Ceremony of Lodge St. Fothad's Auchterderran No.1059

On Saturday the 27th Of October 2012, the Provincial Grand Master Bro Rev Andrew Paterson headed a deputation to the Installation of Bro William Miller as Right Worshipful Master and the Office-Bearers of Lodge St. Fothad's Auchterderran No.1059.

The new Right Worshipful Master Bro William Miller said of the ceremony         

The installation fulfilled all my expectations with my preferred Installing team with the exception of the unfortunate absence of PM Allan Winsborough, Lodge HLI/RHF No1459 who was to have been Installing JW (a post which PM Bill Rocks of Lodge Randolph No776 fIlled admirably)

         
The Installing Masters were their usual efficient selves and the Board of Installed Masters was larger than I expected and my thanks go to everyone who came along        

 I was particularly gratified by the attendance of RWPGM bro rev Andrew Paterson and his Depute bro Tom Donaldson leading the brethren from PGL and also the presence of a deputation of Brethren from Switzerland led by Bro Dermott Westhoff, WM of Lodge St Andrews No83, Basel and Bro Peter Piwecki, WM of Lodge Bauplan No65, St Gallen, of the Swiss Grand Lodge Alpina

The harmony was enlivened by a couple of songs from Bro Kev Thompson, No19 and Bro Ross Hunter, No400. The toasts and replies were suitably short and included a few words from Bro Westhoff on behalf of the Swiss visitors before the evening was rounded off by Kev's version of the Tyler's Toast and Auld Lang Syne
