Welcome to the official website of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross. The first Provincial Grand Master Alexander Melville of Balgarvie, was commissioned in 1745.

Freemasonry is an ancient and honourable society. It promotes and encourages steady principles in life in an increasingly changing world. Above all we are not a secret society and we welcome expressions of interest from men of mature age, who believe in a Supreme Being and who are genuinely interested in improving society around them.
An ancient brotherhood dedicated to friendship, morality, and brotherly love where moral lessons are veiled in allegory and illustrated by signs and symbols. Masonic secrets are simply methods used by freemasons to recognise each other. Freemasonry interferes with neither religion or politics.
Freemasonry only strives to teach a man the duty he owes to his God, to his neighbour and to himself.
Our aim is to provide information about the Masonic activities within the Province, which are of interest to both Masons and non-Masons alike. Please enjoy your visit and we hope you will come back again soon.
