Sir James Mackay House Presentation

Earlier today, I met with Dawn Oliff (Grand Lodge of Scotland Homes and Charities Manager) and Gillian Hunter (Sir James McKay House manager) when I presented a cheque for the sum of £2,000.00 as a donation to Sir James McKay House.

As one of the Provinces which support Sir James McKay House, this would have been the year that the Province of Fife and Kinross would have held the Annual Garden Fete to raise funds for the Sir James McKay House Masonic Home but due to Covid-19 restrictions (particularly at the home) the fete could not take place this year.

Normally we would expect to raise approximately £2,000.00 from the raffle and various stalls at the fete and as there will be no fete held this year, and to show our continued support to the home, staff and residents, we as Provincial Grand Lodge agreed to make this donation.

Dawn Oliff has advised me, that in time she will let me know how our donation is spent.
