Buckhaven RAC No.441
Buckhaven Royal Arch Chapter No.441 held a regular meeting on Wednesday 12th December 2018, which was the occasion of them celebrating 100 years as a Royal Arch Chapter. A ceremony of rededication was carried out by members of the Supreme Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Scotland headed by First Grand Principal Most Excellent Companion Rev Canon Dr. Joseph John Morrow C.B.E., Q.C., LL.D. who was very ably assisted by M.E. Second Grand Principal James G. Turnbull, M.E. Third Grand Principal, Grand Scribe Ezra Grahame J. Smith and Depute Grand Director of Ceremonies Ian H. Duncan.
The Chapter was opened in due form and the usual business conducted, thereafter deputations from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross, headed by Bro. Stewart Quigley Provincial Grand Master, the Provincial Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Fife and Kinross, headed by the Grand Superintendent M.E.C Keith Thomas and the Supreme Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Scotland headed by the First Grand Principal M.E.C Rev Canon Dr. Joseph John Morrow were piped into the Chapter by Piper Companion Bob Hamlton.
All was very warmly welcomed into the Chapter by First Principal M.E.C Bill Rocks who then handed over the Chapter to the First Grand Principal who conducted the ceremony of rededication in a very dignified manner. Musical accompaniment was supplied by M.E.C Mark Clifford on the organ. After the ceremony the Companions enjoyed an informal harmony together with the usual toasts.
