Provincial Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Fife and Kinross
The Provincial Grand Master Brother Stewart Quigley accompanied by Depute Provincial Grand Master Brother Bill Rocks and Substitute Provincial Grand Master Brother Mike McAdams attended the centenary rededication ceremony of the Provincial Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Fife and Kinross on Saturday 22nd June 2019 held within the premises of Lodge Minto Lochgelly No.385 in North Street Lochgelly.
Provincial Grand Royal Arch Chapter was opened in due form by the Grand Superintendent Most Excellent Companion Keith Thomas and his office bearers. The deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross headed by Provincial Grand Master Brother Stewart Quigley was then introduced into the Provincial Grand Royal Arch Chapter and warmly welcomed by Grand Superintendent M.E.C Keith Thomas.
The District Grand Prior of Fife and Kinross Right Eminent Frater Patrick McBlain P.P. was then introduced into the Provincial Grand Chapter followed by a deputation from sister Provincial Grand Royal Arch Chapters who were headed by Most Excellent Companion James Orr Grand Superintendent of the Provincial Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Glasgow. All visitors were afforded the same warm welcome from Grand Superintendent M.E.C Keith Thomas.
The Supreme Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Scotland then entered the Provincial Grand Chapter who after a warm welcome and usual introduction proceeded to carry out the ceremony of rededication. This was carried out in a sincere and solemn manner and congratulations are due to all who took part. The rededication team consisted of:
M.E. First Grand Principal Joseph John Morrow C.B.E., Q.C., LL.D.
M.E. Second Grand Principal James G. Turnbull.
M.E. Third Grand Principal David A.C. Niven.
Grand Director of Ceremonies John N. Steel.
Depute Grand Diretor of Ceremonies Ian H. Duncan.
With music provided on the organ by M.E.C Mark Clifford.
At the conclusion of the rededication M.E.C John Simpson P.G. Recorder and M.E.C James Stevenson P.G. 1st Soj received Honorary Grand Rank presented by the First Grand Principal and M.E.C Donald Burrell received a Distinguished Service Award.
The District Grand Prior of Fife and Kinross Right Eminent Frater Patrick McBlain P.P presented the Provincial Grand Chapter with a set of square and compasses to mark the 100 years celebrations, which were dedicated by M.E. First Grand Principal Joseph John Morrow. The Companions then retired to dinner at the Town Hall where a very fine meal was served followed by the usual toasts.
