April Statutory Communication
The Statutory Communication of Provincial Grand Lodge was held on Saturday 27 April 2024, Brother Bill Rocks Provincial Grand Master presiding, within the Masonic Hall North Street Lochgelly, under the auspices of Lodge Minto No.385.
On this occasion the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master welcomed into Provincial Grand Lodge Representations from the Provincial Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Fife and Kinross and the District Grand Priory of Fife and Kinross. Most Excellent Provincial Grand Second Principal David Lessels Honorary Depute Provincial Grand Superintendent represented the Provincial Grand Royal Arch Chapter while District Grand Priory was represented by Right Eminent Frater Patrick McBlain District Grand Prior.
Both representatives were warmly welcomed into Provincial Grand Lodge by Provincial Grand Master Brother Bill Rocks and escorted to the east. Brother Rocks thanked the District Grand Prior for the presentation of a new set of square and compasses to be used by Provincial Grand Lodge.
An especially warm welcome was extended to Brother David Barlow a Past Master of Lodge Torrie No.1141, but now living in Western Australia who was home visiting family.
During the course of proceedings two brethren were presented with certificates and neck jewels and awarded Honorary Provincial Grand Rank. Brother John Wylie a Past Master of Lodge St. John No.540 was awarded the rank of Honorary Provincial Grand Marshal and Brother Robert Hamilton a Master Mason of Lodge St. Serf No.327 was awarded the rank of Honorary Provincial Grand Piper.
