Lodge Earl Haig No.1260
At the regular meeting of Lodge Earl Haig No.1260, a Remembrance Service in respect of all those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice over the many years of conflict was held. The service was led by Brother Gordon Michie Past Master, who gave a brief history of Brother Field Marshall Douglas Haig Past Master of Elgin's Lodge at Leven No.91, and Lodge Earl Haig's connection to him.
The Remembrance Service was preceded by a very interesting presentation by Brother Alan Maitland Past Master of The Portobello Lodge No 226 featuring “The man who started the war”.
