Distinquished Service Certificate

At the Regular Meeting of Elgin's Lodge at Leven held on Tuesday 20th September 2016, RWM Bro. John Kirkaldy welcomed a small deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross into the Lodge.

The work of the evening was to confer an Entered Apprentice Degree, which was carried out to a very high standard.

On the completion of the Degree work RWM Bro. John Kirkaldy presented the emblem of authority to Worshipful Substitute Provincial Grand Master Bro. Bill Rocks and asked him to address the Brethren.

Bro. Bill Rocks then asked the Director of Ceremonies to present RWM Bro. John Kirkaldy on the floor of the Lodge and to the surprise of Bro. Kirkaldy, and assisted by Bro. Jim Baxter PM went on to present him with a Distinguished Service Certificate and Breast Jewel to mark the appreciation of the Brethren of Elgin's Lodge at Leven No.91, for the long and dedicated service that Bro. Kirkaldy has given to his Mother Lodge over many years.
