District Grand Priory of Fife & Kinross

The installation of the new District Grand Prior and his commissioned officers of the District Grand Priory of Fife and Kinross was held within the Masonic Temple North Street Lochgelly on Saturday 18th May 2018. A large turnout of Knight Templars was in attendance and welcomed into the District by the retiring District Grand Prior Right Eminent Frater George Hart. Deputations of the various orders, consisting of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross, The Provincial Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Fife and Kinross, Provincial Grand Conclave of East Scotland of the Order of the Secret Monitor and Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite Scotland East were warmly welcomed into the Temple followed by the reigning District Grand Priors from the Sister Districts and the the Great Priory of Scotland headed by the Most Eminent and Reverend Grand Master Joseph Stewart Wood GCT.

The new District Grand Prior Right Eminent Frater Patrick McBlain was installed into the office of District Grand Prior by the Most Eminent and Reverend Grand Master assisted by his officers of Great Priory. The Commissioned Officers were then installed into their various offices by the Right Eminent Grand Seneschal W. Raymond King, GCT.

All then sat down to dinner which was followed by the usual toasts. The Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross was represented by Depute Provincial Grand Master Brother Bill Rocks who was accompanied by Substitute Provincial Grand Master Brother Mike McAdams and Provincial Grand Chaplain Brother Alex Whitehill.
