Lodge Torrie No.1141

A special occasion in the history of Lodge Torrie No.1141 on Saturday 8th November 2014. A Deputation from the Grand Lodge of Scotland headed by the Right Worshipful Depute Grand Master Bro. Douglas W Duncan visited the Lodge and carried out the Ceremony of Rededication to mark 100 years.

The Lodge was opened in Due Form and Raised to the Third or High and Degree of a Master Mason by Bro. Alan Morgan RWM and his Office-Bearers. The Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross then entered the Lodge and was welcomed by the RWM and Brethren, Bro. Douglas W Duncan Right Worshipful Depute Grand Master and the Deputation from the Grand Lodge of Scotland then entered the Lodge, was warmly welcomed by Bro. Alan Morgan who proffered the gavel to Bro. Douglas W Duncan in order that the Ceremony of Rededication might begin.

Bro. Douglas W Duncan Right Worshipful Depute Grand Master and Grand Office-Bearers then took charge of the Lodge and carried out the Rededication Ceremony in a very dignified manner, Thereafter Bro. David Hynd Past Master of Lodge Torrie No.1141 gave a very informative resume of the history of Lodge Torrie No.1141.
